Project Background

The ecological awareness has touched several layers of society including tourists who now wish to explore the world while preserving nature, thus giving birth to the bicycle rental activity which, in addition to its low cost aspect, allows its customers to fully benefit from their tourist outings.

It is in this context that we were contacted by a Tunisian travel agency to create its web application for bike rental.

Services and Features

The site has been designed in two ways, the first aimed at standard visitors, while the second is aimed at the reservation service.

To attract the visitor's attention, the home page unfolds, through a carousel, the advantages of cycling for tourist hikes.

The visitor continues browsing to learn about the rental procedure, the agency's professional commitment and the testimonials of a set of Customers.

Emphasis is also placed on attractions to discover or thematic routes intended for cycling tourists.

Interested Customers can then proceed to the actual reservation by accessing a wizard who collects Customer information and the reservation choices (category of bikes, date of availability, additional services).

These information will be processed in order to validate the availability of resources and to calculate fees costs. The order is then paid by credit card or Paypal transfer.

In back-office mode, the administrator can manage resources and fees himself. In this regard, we should note the support for multiple price grids depending on the origin of the customer.

Project Background

In a world where uberization has affected entire sectors of the economy (hotels, taxis, catering, etc.), artisans are now required to rethink their marketing approaches at the risk of seeing their income levels sustainably reduced.

It is in this context that we were approached by a company of VTC drivers in order to create their web application for online booking of customer trips.

Application Features

The site is built on two parts. The first is related to the presentation of the services offered by the company with a modern and attractive home page, professional bilingual content and a contact form.

The second part deals with the online booking which begins with a form allowing the visitor to enter the data of the trip (departure, arrival, date and time and baggage options) so that the pricing module calculates the necessary costs according to the selected options. A Google Map shows the way to go, the distance and the duration of the trip.

If the price is suitable for the Customer, he can proceed with the “Order” step to forward his personal information (name, address, email) and the data of secure payment by credit card or paypal.

Once payment is made, Customer and Driver are notified with an e-mail including the invoice in pdf format as well as a real-time SMS. In backend access, the driver can browse all the orders as well as the visits frequency through the Google Analytics console.
